Risleys’ Rush Point on Raquette Lake is in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains on the only privately owned natural beach on the lake. The sand bottom continues out gradually for over 300′ from shore. There is a dock for sunbathing near the beach with a marked out swim area. There is also a dock for boats and water skiing protected from the wind in a bay. Each cottage has its own outdoor fireplace and picnic tables. There is a lean-to for outdoor sleeping as well. A playground is also available and has a swing set, playhouse, a basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton and a horseshoe set.
