Johnsburg Public Library
Welcome to the Town of Johnsburg Library. This year, 2021, marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Town of Johnsburg Library in 1996. Thanks to a dedicated group of library supporters, what began as a shelf of books in the Town Hall grew to become the Town of Johnsburg Library. In the beginning, the library occupied a former room of the Town Hall in North Creek, but it quickly expanded with an addition that included a children’s room, a computer area, and the Bobbie Flansburg Yeaw Reading Room–with more stacks for the growing collection of library materials. The library, a member of the Southern Adirondack Library System, is a warm and welcoming space for browsing, reading, and research; it provides a range of services, including the borrowing of library materials and programming for children and adults.
