Fulton House
The Fulton House is nestled on the North Shore of Fourth Lake, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Fourth Lake is the largest of the Fulton Chain of Lakes, connecting the towns of Old Forge and Inlet. Along the Fulton Chain you will find historic "camps," pristine natural beauty, and a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
The Fulton House is comprised of five cottages along the shore, each with character and creature comforts. Our property features a turn-of-the-last-century Victorian summer home and a boathouse cottage in addition to three other quant cottages that overlook the lake.
We also have a dock and boardwalk, canoes and kayak for your use (other boats may be rented on the lake), a "sandbox" by the shore, a protected swimming area, boat docking, sunny lawn, campfire circle, and acres of woods.
Should you wish to venture out, you will find many inviting attractions in the nearby towns of Old Forge, Eagle Bay, and Inlet, including the Adirondack Scenic Railroad, Enchanted Forest/Water Safari, Fulton Chain Boat Tours, Gift Shops, Golf & Mini-golf, Horseback Riding, McCauley Mountain Scenic Chair Ride, The Strand (movie) Theater, Restaurants, Seaplane Rides, Town Beaches, Tennis Courts, Concerts, View the Arts Center in Old Forge, and numerous other regular events.
There are also miles of beautiful hiking and biking trails, for all abilities, that spread out in every direction through the Adirondack wilderness, up mountains for terrific vistas, or to ponds, waterfalls, and beaver dams. Just ask us to show you the map of the area. You can hike up "Bald" Mountain right from your cottage. It's in our backyard!
Come enjoy the Central Adirondacks!
