Gillis Realty, Inc. was founded in 1989 when mother and son team, Maggi and Rob Gillis, left Century 21 and ventured out on their own. The family had recently purchased and renovated one of the oldest buildings on Park Street in Tupper Lake, formerly known as the Donovan Block. Maggi retired in 1998 to join her husband, Bob, to travel the country in their motor home.

In 2004, Rob and his wife Lisa opened a second location office in Long Lake. The two Brokers, along with their team of local professional agents have been able to keep pace with some of the largest producing companies in the region. The Adirondack Region is gifted with stunning natural beauty and breathtaking scenery.
